Friends of Forge Pond

Prior to the creation of the Friends of Forge Pond (FoFP), there were two homeowners associations on the lake; the Green Needles Association (aka Woodlands Community Association), for homeowners on the southeast shore and the surrounding area, and the Lake Matawanakee Association for the homeowners in the development on the southwest side.  Each focused on their neighborhoods but not the lake/pond as a whole.  FoFP was formed to address lake management issues.
